Tom Dixon's New Como Shop

Tom Dixon’s latest adventure takes us to the historically vibrant city of Como, Italy.
Here we have a shop in the heart of Como’s historical centre at Via Armando Diaz, 39, 22100 Como CO, Italy, selling and exhibiting our contemporary lighting, furniture and accessories.
Retaining the local stone walls and chestnut wooden slabs originating from the surrounding mountains, we found a traditional Italian building from the late 1800s.
The space combines historical architecture with Tom Dixon’s contemporary aesthetic, pairing our refined forms against the naturalistic backdrop of wood and stone.
The City of Como
If you’ve travelled to Italy, there’s a good chance you’ve visited the city of Como. Renowned for its mountainous backdrop and of course the picturesque Lake Como.
The city is steeped in history from Ancient Roman beginnings, its rich Silk manufacturing pedigree and lasting Neoclassical architecture.
The new Tom Dixon Shop
One of the first impressions for visitors as they enter is a cluster of metallic SPRING pendants hanging above their heads. The warm, metallic hues of SPRING, as well as our best-selling MELT and BEAT lights, illuminate the space and our products. Highlights include the FLASH table with reflective metallic tops, and rounded SCOOP chairs. Custom-made shelves house a collection of home accessories, from the covetable ELEMENT fragrances to the PRESS vases and TANK glassware range.
Being located in the narrow streets of Como’s historical centre means space is limited – so our plan for 2021 is to extend upwards into a two-storey showroom. Doubling the space enables us to show more of our extraordinary lights, furniture pieces and accessories.
The Como showroom is our second monobrand to open in Italy, following the opening of the Manzoni restaurant and showroom in 2019. Operated by Atalia, the Como shop is just another reason to visit one of Italy’s finest cities.

A pair of Tank Whiskey Glasses to accompany our Tank Whiskey Decanter, presented in gift-worthy packaging. Mouth-blown and ornamented with hand-painted copper detailing, it forms part of a collection alongside our other Tank glassware and tableware.
Each Tank Short Glass has a capacity of 200mL.
