A restless innovator, Tom Dixon established Design Research Studio in 2007 as an innovations and design agency to sit alongside his product brand. Located at the heart of Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross the Studio now boast an extraordinary portfolio of global projects including reimagining the modern cruise experience for Virgin Voyages, reinventing the interior of The Pullman Hotel in Bercy and designing the Manzoni Hotel in Milan.

Contract Sales Manager

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join us who has a genuine passion for lighting and furniture, working with our key contract clients, consisting of Architects, Specifiers, Interior Designers and other B2B clients. As Contract Sales Manager you will develop and drive the Tom Dixon direct Contract Sales business in the UK and Ireland market.

Our Design Research Studio offers a complimentary portfolio of services where we can design everything from a large-scale urban project to a single piece of art or one-off furniture item. You will be providing support for the Studio on product sales for their projects.

You will have commercial objectives to exceed sales and profit targets and drive a culture of new prospect acquisition from either your current contacts or your superb networking ability. This is a full-time role based in London and reports into our Head of UK.

FP&A Analyst

The FP&A Analyst is a key member of the finance team responsible for the financial planning process. You must be a confident and keen individual, ready to learn and grow with the company. Financial Controller

Working closely with the CFO you will play a pivotal role in developing the finance team to support our international growth ambitions in a medium-sized multi-faceted group. The role is broad but will include/;

Responsibility for a team of 6 who cover the transactional accounting functions (Accounts Payable, Credit Control, Banking) and the management accountants

Ownership of the month-end accounting process for the preparation of the P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statement
Responsibility for monthly cost centre review meetings with budget holders

Ownership of the annual financial statements and delivery of the year-end audit process

Stock and working capital management supported by appropriate balance sheet control together with effective KPI monitoring
Reporting, decision support and ad hoc analysis for all areas of the business

Working with advisers to establish and implement effective tax strategies ensuring timely compliance with local and fiscal filings and returns

Credit Controller & Transactional Banking 

We’re looking for a Credit Controller & Transactional Banking to join our finance team. The role is fast paced and constantly evolving so being able to adapt and change your approach will be critical to success. You will be a Credit professional with a passion for collection and good customer partnering.

This role is a full-time, permanent role based at our office at Kings Cross, London, with the potential to work up to 2 days per week remote. The role reports into the Senior Credit Controller.

Responsibilities:

The Credit Controller & Transactional Banking will report into the Senior Credit Controller to ensure that all transactions are posted with any required reporting done accurately within the agreed deadlines.

Accounts Payable Assistant

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be a key member of the transactional finance team. The role is fast paced and constantly evolving so being able to adapt and change your approach will be critical to success. 

This is full-time role based in Kings Cross, London and reports to the Transactional Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

Compiling, processing and maintaining Accounts Payable records accurately and in a timely manner
Posting and reconciling bank statements
Reconciling vendor statements to ensure all accounts are correct
Preparation of payment runs in various currencies
Reviewing and processing employee corporate credit card expenses
Dealing with a variety of accounting queries and providing information and reports supporting the Transactional Finance Manager where necessary

Senior Management Accountant

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be a key member of the transactional finance team. The role is fast paced and constantly evolving so being able to adapt and change your approach will be critical to success. 

This is full-time role based in Kings Cross, London and reports to the Transactional Finance Manager 

The Accounts Payable Assistant will report to the Transactional Finance Manager to ensure that all transactions are posted with any required reporting done accurately within the agreed deadlines. 

Responsibilities:

Reconciling vendor statements to ensure all accounts are correct
Preparation of payment runs in various currencies

Running ageing reports on a regular basis and investigating accounts with overdue balances and queries

IT Application Support Specialist

Support and manage the key applications within the business particularly, Navision, Business Central, Perfion and E-com Platform (Magento/Sana). Your role will be responsible for the review of existing applications used by the business, and for encouraging change that achieves efficiency, reliability and above all simplicity. You will have a thorough understanding of Navision & BC and how its use and any changes to it will impact all departments in the business.

A key role within the IT and Projects Team and an ideal opportunity for someone looking to expand their experience and develop their application and project capabilities. Previous experience supporting or and working with Navision, ideally 2017, is essential.

This is a full-time role based at our office in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross and reports to the IT Application Lead.
