Milan Instagram Competition

Win a MELT Pendant worth £575.

Share your photos of our Cinema in Milan on Instagram and the best image will win a Tom Dixon MELT Pendant in their choice of Copper, Gold or Chrome. Runners up will receive one of six limited edition posters of The Cinema, signed by Tom.

Six daily winners will be announced during the show from 14th-19th April, with an overall winner to be announced on Friday 24 April.

The winning photographs and a selection of our favourite shots will be shared on our Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest feeds.

Competition opens 10am CEST 14/04/15 and closes 11:30pm CEST 19/04/15. The competition is open worldwide so anyone over the age of 18 can join in. See below for full terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions 

General

1.1 No purchase necessary. Entry to the competition is conditional on acceptance of these terms and conditions. By entering you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms

1.2 The promoter is Tom Dixon, trading as Design Research Ltd. whose registered office is Wharf Building, Portobello Dock, 344 Ladbroke Grove, London W10 5BU.

Competition

2.1 To enter, entrants must follow the Tom Dixon Instagram account (@tomdixonstudio) with their personal Instagram account, take a photo at The Cinema, upload it to their personal Instagram account and, in the photo’s description, tag @tomdixonstudio and add the hashtags #tomdixon and #thecinema

2.2 Entrants are not restricted in the number of entries they can make to the competition

2.3 The competition is open worldwide

2.4 Minimum age for entry is 18 years

2.4 The opening date for entries is 10am CEST 14/04/15, and closing date is 11:30pm CEST 19/04/15. Entries received before or after this date and time will not be eligible for the prize.

Prize

3.1 The main prize is a Tom Dixon MELT Pendant 50cm. The winner can choose from Copper, Gold or Chrome (subject to availability)

3.2 There are six runner up prizes of a limited edition Cinema poster, signed by Tom Dixon. The overall winner will also receive a signed poster

3.3 The prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative

3.3 All additional expenses incurred including taxes according to a particular country’s taxation system are the responsibility of the prize winner

3.4 The promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

Prize Draw

4.1 Six runners up will be selected by Tom Dixon staff and will be notified daily during the competition period on the @TomDixonStudio Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages

4.2 The overall winner will be selected by Tom Dixon staff from the six shortlisted above and will be notified by Friday 24th April on the @TomDixonStudio Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages

4.3 The prize will be voided if it is not claimed within 14 days

4.4 The prize winners must accept their prize by emailing elizabeth.cooper@tomdixon.net within 14 days of notification

4.5 The prize winners will receive their prize within six weeks of accepting his/her prize by email

4.6 The promoter is not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.

Other

5.1 The promoter shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on any website operated by the promoter

5.2 In the event of a dispute, the decision of the promoter shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into

5.3 The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time

5.4 The promoter assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website during the competition period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment software, failure of any entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating and entering in the promotion

5.5 Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the promoter reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution

5.6 Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the promoter and accordingly the promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the promoter as a result thereof

5.7 The promoter has organised this competition in good faith and does not accept liability relating to the prize.
