Thank you for all your entries. We had fun looking through each and every entry. With so much quality and creativity it wasn't easy to pick the winners.

Here's your chance to win one of our new CUT lights

The Brief

We have a challenge for you.

You the Instagrammer, you the photographer, you the artist.

Find, create, or fake a photograph or video of your kaleidoscopic masterpiece and post on Instagram (and use #tomdixonCUT and tag us @tomdixonstudio).

We want you to play with mirrors, play with light, play with the angles of plastic, glass, liquid, play with your mirror app on your phone.

Find patterns (check out Patternity for a little inspiration). Mix virtual and reality to create kaleidoscopic masterpieces.

The Rules

Competition runs from 2nd – 19th June 2017. All valid entries must adhere loosely to the above brief and strictly to the below requirement:

Post your entries on Instagram, use #tomdixonCUT and tag us (@tomdixonstudio).

Entries must be original material and taken or produced by the entrant.

Full terms can be found here.

The Prize

One winner, picked by Tom Dixon, takes a CUT light of their choice (dependent on availability).

Two runners up with win a signed copy of the Patternity A New Way of Seeing book. Our favourites will feature on our Instagram and this website.

The NY Elevator

If you are in New York make sure you head to 19 Howard Street and check out the service elevator outside. We've placed a few CUT surface lights inside – the perfect subject for this competition.
