“Only the sixth formers had life-drawing classes (you are still not allowed to witness a naked body until you’re 16), but I used to sneak in and sketch. There is nothing to beat this activity in teaching proportion and balance and I think it probably had a big impact and still informs my design work.” Tom Dixon
