Design Research Studio is recruiting for a highly motivated, all round junior designer to join their London office. Founded in 2002 by Tom Dixon, the studio is noted for its Design of Mondrian, Barbecoa and Shoreditch House.
Tom Dixon Middle Weight Designer
We are also recruiting for a middle weight designer. Reporting directly to the senior designer, the successful candidate will work on high profile residential and commercial projects both in the UK and internationally. The applicant should have strong conceptual skills, good knowledge of interior detailing and FF&E specification.

Sales Manager-North Germany & Sales Manager-South Germany
Tom Dixon has identified the German market as being key to its European growth ambitions and as such we are expanding our sales team in Germany and are looking to add two additional members to our team, in order to support and continue our successful growth. Both team members will be reporting directly into our London HQ.

The product is currently sold across 63 countries, and we have offices and warehouses in London, New York and Hong Kong.
Launched in 2007, Design Research Studio is the interior design arm of the Design Research Group. High profile projects include Shoreditch House and Paramount private members’ clubs as well as Joseph’s flagship store on Old Bond Street, London. Recently completed projects include Barbecoa, Jamie Oliver and Adam Perry Lang’s new restaurant in the One New Change development beside St Paul’s, London and Tazmania Ballroom, a private members club in the Central district of Hong Kong.
Tom Dixon rose to prominence in the mid 1980’s as 'the talented untrained designer with a line in welded salvage furniture'. Having worked for Italian manufacturer Cappellini where he designed the iconic S chair; Tom then went on to create his own company, 'Eurolounge', under which he made and sold the much celebrated Jack light. Dixon was appointed head of design by Habitat in 1998 and later became Creative Director until his departure in January 2008. Dixon was awarded the Order of the British Empire in 2001. He is the Creative Director of Tom Dixon.
The Tom Dixon brand is in a period of very fast growth, expecting to more than double in size year upon year for the next few years.
