Fin Light is an ode to engineering and an introduction to new and rapidly changing lighting technologies. Proudly exposing its inner workings, Fin takes usually invisible electrical components and makes them integral to the design, the result is a self-contained piece featuring both shade and light in one. A heatsink, an extruded aluminium component used to cool electrical equipment, forms the body and structure of the light. Designed to give an intense brightness, the 6 high powered LEDs are magnified through a giant acrylic lens to give a broadened beam of light.
